Chanel AW16 RTW Makeup

Chanel’s Iconic Quilted Bag Influences AW16 Runway Makeup.

Amongst the fabulous Designers showcasing their collections at Parisian runway shows, Chanel stole the show in March 2016. We saw everything that is iconic to Chanel: tweed, quilting and luxurious glamour. Not only were the clothes mesmerising, as was the makeup seen on the models created by Tom Pecheux.

Gigi Hadid showcasing the Quilted Eye makeup look created by Tom Pecheux.

The Quilted Eye exceeded makeup expectations on the Paris runways. The make-up came with a complicated, finely brushed appeal which is a trademark of Pecheux. Tom Pecheux decorated the model’s eyes channeling the iconic Chanel 2.55 Flap Bag. The smokey eye make up look, which mimicked the famous fabric, was created by using a stencil, brush and black and brown shadows. The rest of the face was kept nude in an attempt to keep all focus on the eyes. Overall, the makeup complimented the collection beautifully.

As I have previously experienced working for Chanel beauty, I am aware of the price tag but the quality makes the products worth ever penny. If you’re looking to recreate the look, you can use the products listed below:
